Able-To-Teach

2 Timothy 2:1-2 ESV   1) You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, 2)  and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.

Able-to-Teach is a platform for people to go to, to find conservative teaching and views of the Bible. We believe that the people that wrote the Bible were inspired by God. Because God loves every person thats been on the earth and every person that will ever be on the earth, He has preserved His inspired word throughout all of history so no one can say

“I Didn’t Know”. In todays world there are very few people that can’t read. The Holy Bible is for every one. It’s love letters written from a Holy God to His creation to let them know how to come to Him and be accepted. It’s good to remember that He made the heavens and the earth for His purpose. Because He is God, He can tell us how we must approach Him and in so doing, it pleases Him.

Why does He have a special way to come to Him? He is Holy and we are not. He has a made a way to come to Him and He has revealed it to us in the Holy Bible. So if we think that we can come to Him on our own merit His Holiness would simply destroy us. For all have sinned. He made the way and it’s through His Son JESUS the CHRIST of God that takes away our sin.

He will give us His sinless sacrifice and take our sin allowing His Blood to be our atonement before God. That is the only way to come to Him. After that we must live a certain way to show we have chosen Jesus as our savior. The way we live does not save us but shows that we have Him in us to live His way not our own way.

With all that in mind I want to say that I became a Christian in 1976 and God called me to attend CBC in Springfield Missouri. I graduated in May 1983 with a BA in Bible and minor in Biblical languages with a pre-seminary concentration. I have continued my steady and wish to write about living as a Christian by following what the Bible has to tell us from a conservative perspective.

2 Timothy 2:24-26 ESV

24) And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25) correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, 26) and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.
