Christians and Jews

Jews and Christians

How should a Christian fell about what Israel is facing? All alone in a sea of people all around them, that simply hate them because they are Jews! Their allies refusing to help because of… “POLITICS”. Most Christians and their preachers go to Matt. 25 to try and make people fell guilty to give money or their time for evangelistic causes. But keeping Matt 25 in it’s context is about how people or nations treat the Jews. Let me try and show what I mean.

King James Version

Matt. 25:31-46

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, In as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Some think that Matt. 24 is speaking to the Church about how hard the end days are going to be. But when Jesus walked around in Israel no one had any concept of the Church. Until after His resurrection and ascension into heaven and sending the Holy Spirit the mystery of Church was never heard of. No one in Israel was ever taught about the Church until it was revealed to the 12 Apostles and to Paul, which was taught to him by Jesus in Arabia.

In the book of Acts (6:1-4) the 12 apostles tell the people to appoint men to over see the material needs of the people and they would devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word. I believe this is when the Holy Spirit was teaching them all the places in the Old Testament where the mystery of the Church could be found. Since Matt. 24 was a message to the people He was speaking to at that time, it was a message for the Jewish people. The disciples even asked Him jewish questions that the Rabbi’s taught. Please keep the context, when it was spoken and to whom it was spoken.

Matt. 24 and the book of Revelation go hand in hand, it is the “time of Jacobs trouble”, its not the Church. So Matt. 25 has to also be about the Jewish people and how people treat them. Jesus said they are judged on how they treated His “brothers and sisters”…Jews! Please remember Jesus is a Jew. If you think you can treat the Jewish people with contempt and your ok with that, the last verse of Matt. 25 is what you’ll have to deal with. Are they perfect? NO and neither are we.

Having said all that, these verses now apply to all people and nations until the end of time.

As I have studied Bible prophecy for almost half a century it does appear as if we are in the very last of the last days. The whole world is turning their backs on the Jewish people, even her allies. The United States is supposed to be Israel’s strongest ally. And yet for POLITICS, the USA is trying to make Israel surrender to those who want her total destruction.

“From the river to the sea” means every Jew must be killed. It’s been said that the Muslims can loose every war they make against Israel, but Israel can never lose one, because if they do there is no more Jewish country. That is precisely what Iran and all it’s minions want. Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, Islamic Jehad, Isis and all the other Muslim ism’s want only to completely destroy Israel.

It is very easy to see that Isiah 17 and Ezekiel 38 and 39 are right on the horizon. I don’t know this for sure but it is looking like all the pieces of the puzzle are in play. If this is the time that God’s prophecies are talking about then God is going to came forth in wrath and destroy all those armies Himself. It is very clear in the Bible that God loves the Jewish people and He is never going to allow their destruction.

Since God is going to fight for Israel should we just set back and let it happen?…NO!!! Our duty is to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to help the Jewish people in any way we are able. Thats what Matt. 25 is telling us to do.
