False Teachers in the Last Days

1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) (Please read the whole chapter) 

1. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

The Bible is very clear about the last days being very perilous. We believe we are in the very last of the last days at this time. Peter announced on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:16-17) that the last days had started then. So where are we now? The verse above says in these days, people would give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. As we look around, we see what’s going on in the world and know this to be the truth. Evil as everywhere in our societies. Not only is this in the world today, but it’s also in the church. We have doctrines that people are espousing in the church that are not Biblical. One of those doctrines of demons is that the church has replaced Israel. Which I believe be the worst of the doctrines of demons going on today. My question is, if God does not keep His covenant with Israel, what makes you think He will keep His word to you. (I have written about this in other articles please read them)

The reason I think this doctrine of “replacement theology” (the church has replaced Israel) is the most dangerous of all is because, it calls into question God’s character, it makes Him a liar. What it is doing is saying that God will not keep His word to anyone, especially His chosen people, the Jews. This my friend is very dangerous. I say again, if God will not keep His word, that He’s given to the Jewish people, what makes you think He will keep His word to you?

I do believe the devil is real, and he is trying to infiltrate the church with these doctrines of demons. He wishes to pervert the truths  that the Bible teaches. In this way, he can get churches, especially pastors, and teachers to teach things that are not biblical, but look like they are by twisting the scriptures. Keep every verse in its context and you won’t go wrong. Read these verses in 2 Timothy 4 and you can see what is happening today. (Especially verses 3-4)

2 Timothy 4:2-4 (ESV) (Please read the whole chapter)

2. preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4. and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 (KJV) (Please read the whole chapter)

2. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

As I wrote at the beginning, I believe we are in the last of the last of days and 1 Timothy 4 has more to say about these days in which we are living. One of the things that Paul says is “forbidding marriage”. You can look at almost any church in this country and find people living together that are not married. Somehow, they think God will wink at this, but that is not the case. God created marriage for one woman with one man together in marriage. If you are living together and are not married, that is sin, please repent before God and ask Him to forgive you and get married.

We even have a few churches that are telling their people there are certain foods that they cannot eat because it is sinful. I believe that to be a doctrine of demons, because it brings people into bondage. In verse three below it says if you are thankful for what God has provided you, then it is good, for God made it. Thank Him for it and eat it. Paul made it clear in Romans 14 that everything is clean and can be eaten. So eat what you want and don’t condemn others or tell them they are sinning for what they are eating. Eat it before God and give Him thanks and keep your conscience clean.

1. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

3. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

4. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

5. For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Of course, there are other doctrines of demons that the devil is trying to infiltrate the church with. But we will start with these so that you can know the devil does not like you and wants to deceive you. Keep searching the scriptures so that you can find the truth, and as Jesus said “knowledge of the truth will set you free”.

John 8:30-32 (KJV) (Please read the whole chapter)

30. As he spake these words, many believed on him.

31. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

If you find yourself in a church, that is teaching what you believe to be “wrong doctrine”. Please go to your pastor and speak with him. If he sticks to what he believes and you know you are correct, and can prove that by the Bible, then leave that church and find one that preaches nothing but the word of God. Above all, get the truth and follow Jesus with all your heart. Just please do not get angry at the people there, just follow Jesus. Please do not cause division and strife as you pursue the truth of the Bible, because God will show the truth to others also in His time.
